Aims and Objectives
To create a stimulating, caring and safe environment for all children in our care.
To provide high quality care and education for pre-school children, following the Montessori philosophy and using the Montessori materials.
To work as partners with parents in their children’s learning.
To take account of the children’s needs arising from race culture, language and religion.
To instil in each child an awareness of, and a caring for, the world around him/her.
To formulate and encourage equal opportunities for both children and adults.
To provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children.
To help children to be confident, happy, calm, purposeful, free and independent.
To awaken the child’s interest in all subjects by whatever method is suitable for him/her.
To identify staff training needs, to ensure their continued professional development and support such training as far as possible.
To ensure that we meet all government requirements for funded children.
To encourage active participation of the nursery within the local community.
All educational goals and philosophy will be reviewed periodically by all teaching staff and owner.
